Why we exist

Why We Exist

Preachingmatters.

We believe that the Bible is the ultimate source of objective truth. It calls for repentance and it makes room for celebration (Nehemiah 8:8).

Biblical preaching is for the Church (1 Corinthians 15), it reaches into the generations that come after (Psalm 89), and is a primary duty of the pastor (Malachi 2:7).

Sound, biblical preaching takes effort, and we exist to support local pastors in the preaching of the gospel every week. We believe shouldering the weight of preaching and prayer is a vital support to congregations, a rich investment into the health of leaders, and encourages unity across Bible-believing churches (1 Thessalonians 3:6–13).

What We Do

The Gospel Supply is a ministry of Vivid Church, sent out of the same mission to reflect the light of Jesus’ life for all to see.

Pulpit Supply

Pulpits are empty for many reasons: illness, vacation schedules, pastoral transition, burnout, etc. We have a roster of preachers prepared to stand in the gap for you.

Pastoral Support

We are relational-builders; pastors who pray for each other, meet in person, and bear each other’s burdens.

We are raising up preachers to handle the Word carefully and preach it well through coaching, honest feedback, and real pulpits in real churches.

    You introduce yourself

    Fill out this form and introduce yourself. Tell us the date, your church, and any other information you think we should know — the series or lectionary you would like covered, the context of your congregation, what a win would look like for your church, etc.

    We introduce you to a preacher

    We connect you with a preacher from our team.

  3. Step 03

    They come ready

    Your guest arrives prepared, on time, and in step with your mission and vision.

Our Story

It started with a demolition.

The Church is precious to Jesus, and is the very thing He is building here on earth. Yet, we have witnessed too many congregations struggling due to discouragement, financial hardship, dwindling numbers and burnt out leaders. Some churches do not have pastors, and others are closing their doors or selling their buildings to developers. Empty pulpits and demolished buildings. This is the origin of the Gospel Supply.

With a heart to encourage pastors and raise up new leaders and preachers, we have set out to fortify the existing pulpits in our city. The Gospel Supply is a ministry of Vivid Church. We are the local church, sent out to the local Church, that the doors stay open and the gospel is preached, reflecting the light of Jesus’ life for all to see.

The Gospel Supply is a local mission of Vivid Church. We invest in the local church because we are all doing this together. If you would like to donate, your giving sends preachers to churches that could not otherwise fill a pulpit.

We ensure our preachers are cared for. We believe that they are worth investing into. Donating directly to the work of The Gospel Supply takes the transactional dynamic out of joyfully receiving a guest preacher.
